JESSICA LEFEVRE

An accomplished negotiator and trained mediator, Jessica has an extensive background in alternative dispute resolution in multiple contexts. Serving for many years as the chief advisor and core program director for an internationally recognized nonprofit, she guided individuals and organizations through conflicts arising at levels ranging from employee relations to economic and regulatory controversies, to complex issues arising at the intersection of law, science, and public policy. Her unique skill in crafting stepwise, situation-specific process enables her to guide parties to mutually satisfying outcomes.

Jessica’s experience includes negotiating and enacting federal legislation authorizing novel approaches to resolving public policy controversies; leading local communities and energy developers in resolving development-related conflicts; crafting the landmark solution to an international regulatory conflict among resource users and conservation groups.

Jessica has considerable experience facilitating dialogue where diversity and cross-cultural differences impede communication, and in all settings skillfully assists parties in finding benefits available through compromise.
